Doctors
David Epstein M.D. was born in Delaware in 1957. After graduating from Mount Pleasant High School, he received his B.A. from Columbia University in New York, and his M.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Epstein completed his pediatric training at Mount Sinai Hospital, Manhattan. After 21 years of pediatric practice locally, Dr. Epstein founded Delaware Modern Pediatrics in 2007.
Dr. Epstein is a past president of the Delaware Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a past president of the Wilmington-New Castle Pediatric Association. For recreation, he enjoys road bicycling and barbershop quarteting; he has employed each of these activities for community fundraising. He is also the proud father of a teenage daughter!

rshberg, RN, CPNP joined us in September, 2009. Tamar has 4 years of experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner practicing in Connecticut; previously, she gained 12 years experience as a Pediatric ICU nurse. She received her Bachelors of Nursing from Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and her Masters as a PNP from the University of Maryland.
