We are experiencing a big problem with missed appointments. Many patients every day are not appearing for scheduled appointments, even if we've spoken with the family to remind them.
Please understand that this is a major inconvenience for other patients who are trying to obtain appointments themselves for sick or well care. It is also a problem for our staff in budgeting our time.
If you have an appointment that you cannot keep, we are happy to reschedule it if we have more than a day's notice. You must speak to a staff member during office hours; it is NOT sufficient to leave a voicemail the night (or weekend) before. Every missed appointment results in a charge to you of $30, which is NOT covered by insurance. Repeated missed appointments will result in being discharged from our practice.
