Please avoid running to "Urgent Care" facilities if your child becomes sick after-hours. We are on call 24 hours a day, and you are welcome to call for issues that cannot wait for the morning. The doctors in "Urgent Care" facilities are not trained pediatricians, and generally you will get much better care from your own doctor.
If you must seek care for your child before our office opens, I prefer that you visit a hospital-based emergency room, such as Christiana Care, duPont Hospital, or Union Hospital, instead of the "Urgent Care" facilities.
